Scossa di Terremoto tra Catania e Messina di 4.3 gradi. Sciame sismico in corso

Una scossa di terremoto di magnitudo 4.3 è stata registrata dall’Istituto di geofisica e vulcanologia (Ingv) nel distretto Monti Nebrodi, tra Messina e Catania, alle 8.50. Pochi minuti dopo una seconda scossa di magnitudo 2.4. I comuni limitrofi all’epicentro sono quelli del messinese di Cesarò e San Teodoro, e di Maniace (Catania).

Dalle prime verifiche della Protezione civile “non risultano al momento danni a persone e cose”. Ulteriori verifiche sono in corso anche da parte di squadre dei vigili del fuoco e delle forze dell’ordine. I comuni limitrofi all’epicentro sono quelli del messinese di Cesarò e San Teodoro, e di Maniace (Catania), nel distretto Monti Nebrodi, a una profondità di 10,1 chilometri.

Lo sciame sismico, cominciato in realtà da quasi un giorno, ha avuto 6 ore fa il suo fenomeno più alto, mentre lo sciame sismico è ancora in corso.
