Identikit of Pope Francis, a communicator which has to confront with the Curia Romana problems and shadows from the past

InformAction referred to him has one of the most likely cardinals to become Pope, amongst a group of fourteen others. CEI (Italian Episcopal Conference) has to withdraw hastily the congratulation note to Scola, as a short round of scrutiny seemed to favor the most probable one. However, as the old saying goes, who enters in the Conclave as Pope, exits as cardinal, and traditions, in the Vatican, always prove to be worthy of respect.
American cardinals, especially cardinal O’Malley, have proposed the name of Francis as one that would meet the public opinion likeness after what seemed a proper market analysis. This is a very hard choice, as the most notable Francis in the history of the Church was the one St. Francis that walked on the thin line between orthodoxy and heresy, but was the first, after Jesus himself, to wear stigmata and impose a vote of poverty to his monastic order.

St. Francis is historically remembered has having a nice relationship with all living beings, and an extensive culture that allowed him to write one of the first poems in “lingua volgare”, the first Italian language other than latin. Pope Bergoglio’s name is already engraved in history because of his very simple lifestyle: he moves using public transport, he has always been sympathetic to poor people (he washed HIV-affected people’s feet during the Holy Week) and he has asked for his devoted people’s blessing on his election, kneeling before them and calling himself Bishop of Rome. This last feat is most probably a form of respect to Pope emeritus Ratzinger, to whom the new Pope’s first thought went to .

On a more fashionable and esoteric note, surely the fact that the new election has been made on the 13-03-13 could not be missed.

Thirteen is a number that marks the end and the start of a new cycle, both for Celtic tradition and for Native Americans, and is very dear to the freemasons’ as it is the number identifying new acolytes. Symbol of eternal destruction and recreation, 13 means transformation, rebirth, the phoenix rising from its cinders, the knowledge of secrets and the ability of materializing and dematerialize, the capacity to create from thin air. This number symbolizes the participants to the Last Supper and in the Easter Cultures those “born” under this number’s influence have the possibility to mend or complete what remained incomplete in previous incarnations.

Pope Francis is still burdened with an unsolved case of disappearance of a clergyman in Argentina, with whom president Kirchner has always had a bad relationship.

Under Argentinian dictatorship era, writer Horacio Verbitsky in “El Silencio” tells us about a Bergoglio standing against members of the clergy fusing Marxism and Catholicism to enter favelas and spread bread and political books. Four of them, Father Yorio, Father Jalics, Father Douron and Father Rastellini were tortured and deported to concentration camps. Only two of them lived through these hardships, and this is something Bergoglio’s enemies have yet to forget.
