La proposta presentata oggi dalla Commissione europea per l’istituzione di un Meccanismo unico di risoluzione delle crisi bancarie segna un progresso rilevante verso l’Unione bancaria europea. Il meccanismo proposto e i requisiti prudenziali rafforzati contribuiranno ad aumentare la fiducia e la stabilità del sistema bancario e, più in generale, a sostenere la ripresa economica nella zona euro. Ora è necessario procedere ad un’adozione rapida della proposta della Commissione europea, perché il Meccanismo unico di risoluzione delle crisi possa entrare in vigore il prima possibile, come già sollecitato allo scorso Consiglio europeo di giugno.

La prossima riunione del Consiglio dei Ministri è convocata per venerdì alle 10
